What a fantastic event the inaugral Autocare 2018 Convention has been.
Hosted over Friday 4th and Saturday the 5th of May at the International Convention Centre in Sydney, Autocare 2018 consisted of a sell-out trade display, technical training seminars as well as a content-rich conference series with both national and international speakers.
The trade show was a fantastic component with many leading brands on display including Mechanic.com.au Premier Community Partners Exedy, Gates, Injectronics, Monroe, Narva, Penrite and Ryco with their latest products on display and teams on hand to answer any questions.
The Mechanic.com.au stand was also a hive of activity with many new member registrations as well as existing mechanic.com.au members stopping by to say hello and have a chat over the two days.
It was particularly interesting to hear first hand experiences of workshop owners' quests to seek experienced technicians, many of which will no doubt have an influence on future releases of mechanic.com.au's recruitment offerings.
Mechanic.com.au Director Ryan Davis also had the opportunity to catch up with International Guest Scott Brown, President of Diagnostic Network and former president of the iATN to discuss the Australian Vehicle Service and Repair landscape similarities to its US Counterpart.
There was fantastic feedback from the unique seminar series which covered everything from small business marketing to diagnostics as well as the Automate Training stage which saw a number of product demonstrations and educational speeches take place.
We're very pleased to have exhibited at the Autocare 2018 and are very much looking forward to the next event!
