Evidence of Training

Here at Mechanic.com.au, we believe that in order to run a leading automotive service and repair business that we must be perpetual learners and that the moment we stop learning is when we start to fall behind.

In keeping with these ideals, it is a requirement that businesses registering for the EVOLVE program provide evidence that a minimum of 1 person from their business has undertaken a form of training within 30 months prior to the date of their registration. This eligibility time frame is ordinarily 12 months, however has been extended due to the disruption to training delivery caused by COVID-19.

At the time of registering for or upgrading to the EVOLVE program, It is a requirement that businesses upload evidence that training has been undertaken during the specified period and via the specified formats by way of providing one of the specified documents.

Acceptable training delivery formats include but are not limited to ANY of the following:

  • Attendance of a physical event such as a training clinic or seminar.

  • Attendance of an online or remote event such as a webinar.

  • Completion of online learning such as through an educational subscription platform.

 

Acceptable forms of evidence include but are not limited to ANY of the following:

  • Booking Confirmation such as an e-mail or document.

  • Certificate of Attendance such as may be issued to attendees.

  • A Receipt or Tax Invoice.

 

Evidence can be submitted as an electronic document, scanned document, photo of a document or other similar mediums. You are encouraged to hide/remove any information that you consider private or sensitive from the document that you submit.

 

If you are unsure whether the evidence that you have on hand satisfies the points above, you are encouraged to upload the evidence and complete the registration process. Should there be an issue with the material provided, our team will contact you for further information. Your registration for the EVOLVE program and respective charges will not be applied until our team has reviewed and approved your application.
