As a Master Mechanic, you will play a vital role in diagnosing and repairing vehicles, ensuring top-notch service for our valued customers. You will utilise your expertise across various light vehicle makes and models to deliver exceptional results while driving our workshop’s performance.
Key Responsibilities
Diagnose and repair vehicles using state-of-the-art diagnostic tools and techniques.
Conduct routine maintenance and ensure vehicles operate smoothly and efficiently.
Supervise and mentor junior mechanics and apprentices, sharing your knowledge and expertise.
Maintain an organised and efficient workshop environment, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
Build strong relationships with customers through excellent communication and service.
To excel in this role, you’ll need:
Extensive hands-on experience as an automotive technician or mechanic.
A valid driver's license.
A Cert 3 in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology having completed a 4-year apprenticeship.
Solid mechanical parts knowledge and experience with automotive tools.
Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with customers and team members.
Basic computer skills necessary for using diagnostic equipment.
Certification as an examiner for vehicle registration is advantageous but not essential.
