Lawrence's Garage and Brake Service, located in the heart of Gunnedah, NSW, is on the lookout for a passionate Qualified Light Vehicle Mechanic to join our friendly and dedicated team. If you take pride in your work and have a strong work ethic, we want to hear from you!

As a Qualified Technician, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our customers receive top-notch service for their vehicles. You'll be responsible for delivering high quality mechanical repairs, servicing, suspension, and brakes, all while maintaining a friendly rapport with our valued clients.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair a variety of vehicle makes and models.
• Conduct routine maintenance and ensure the highest standards of service for our customers.
• Uphold a clean and well-organised workshop environment.
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily targets and maintain customer satisfaction.
• Provide exceptional customer service and communicate effectively with clients.

Skills & requirements

• 2+ years of experience as a mechanic, specialising in light vehicles.
• Cert 3 in Light Vehicle Automotive Mechanical Technology is required.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Strong knowledge of tools and equipment needed to conduct all repairs.
• Excellent communication skills are essential.
• Refrigerant gas/AC license is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Basic computer skills are a plus.
