The Repco Supercars Championship has recently received a significant boost in support from local mechanics across Australia, thanks to Repco Authorised Service becoming the Official Car Service Partner of the country's premier racing series.
With an impressive network of 550 workshops spread throughout the nation, Repco Authorised Service proudly holds the title of Australia's largest independent car service provider. Notably, their nationwide warranty offers drivers the peace of mind that comes with being backed by Repco, Australia's largest auto parts and car accessories retailer.
"We are genuinely excited to be partnering with Supercars and what this will bring to our workshop owners, their staff, and their customers," shared Peter Rogers, National Manager of Repco Authorised Service.
"Our workshops are family-owned businesses who provide high quality car maintenance and repairs, coupled with genuine family values and service. Not surprisingly, our customer base is largely typical Aussie families who rely on their cars, and they rely on their local Repco Authorised Service mechanic.
"Supercars are synonymous with automotive engineering excellence and this partnership, alongside the support and endorsement of Repco, casts a new, bright light on our member workshops and their high standards of expertise."
"Being already part of the family as Repco Authorised Service Centres, this partnership is a natural fit with Repco’s overall series partnership. Our workshop owners are avid Supercars fans and many of them are participants or supporters of grassroots motorsports, and this partnering with the pinnacle series provides even further connection to the sport."
Repco's involvement with the Repco Supercars Championship began in 2021 when they became the naming rights partner for both the championship and the prestigious Repco Bathurst 1000. In December of the same year, they announced an extension of this partnership through at least 2028. Celebrating its 100th anniversary in the past year, Repco boasts deep-rooted ties to motorsport both within Australia and internationally. Notably, they are renowned for developing the engine that powered Sir Jack Brabham's BT19 to victory in the 1966 Formula One World Championship.
Jamie Black, Supercars’ General Manager – Commercial, expressed his satisfaction with the continued growth of their partnership with Repco. "Our partnership with Repco continues to go from strength to strength with the appointment of Repco Authorised Service as the Official Car Service Partner of the Repco Supercars Championship," Black remarked. He emphasized that this extension of the partnership reflects Repco's unwavering commitment to Australian motorsport. Additionally, it provides an excellent opportunity to connect Supercars fans with Repco Authorised Service mechanics nationwide.
With increased support from local mechanics through the Repco Authorised Service network, motorsport enthusiasts can look forward to an unparalleled experience both on and off the track in the upcoming events of the Repco Supercars Championship.
