Since the inception of Mechanic.com.au back in 2017, our goal has been to connect, educate and inspire Aussie mechanics. Our focus has been on providing channels, resources and tools through which our members can develop their knowledge, share their advice and experience with one another as well as tap into an array of offerings that help support their career growth.
The culmination of positive feedback we have received from our members over the years, the support from leading Australian and Global brands as well as the privilege of carrying the torch as Australia’s largest and most engaged community of automotive service and repair professionals is a firm indicator that we are making meaningful progress toward that goal.
Over the years, the automotive service and repair industry has faced many challenges. Some of which have been long-standing; having compounded over a number of years, whilst others have reared their head more recently. They have a significant impact on the way we operate our businesses as well as threaten their viability into the future. As has been a timeless rule in our industry, our businesses and more widely our lives are that with great challenges also come vast opportunities.
Most automotive service and repair businesses have done a remarkable job of navigating these challenges in recent years but as is becoming increasingly apparent to us all, the notion of ‘going it alone’ is no longer a viable option for those who have a desire to succeed.
