As our Senior Automotive Technician / Workshop Foreman, you will lead our workshop team, ensuring that we provide exceptional service to our valued customers. Your expertise will be crucial in overseeing day-to-day operations, diagnosing complex vehicle issues, and guiding our team to achieve the highest standards of automotive care.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the workshop team, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.
• Diagnose and repair a variety of vehicle makes and models, ensuring top-notch service for our customers.
• Conduct routine maintenance and inspections, adhering to all safety and quality standards.
• Utilise advanced diagnostic tools and techniques to identify mechanical issues effectively.
• Maintain clear communication with customers regarding repair progress and recommendations.
• Ensure the workshop operates smoothly and efficiently, meeting daily targets and deadlines.

Skills & requirements

• Proven experience as a mechanic (5+ years) with a strong understanding of automotive systems and repairs.
• Proficient in diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues in vehicles.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and customer service skills to effectively liaise with clients.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Cert. III in Automotive or equivalent qualifications is required.
• Additional certifications (e.g., air conditioning) are advantageous.
