As a Qualified Automotive Mechanic, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and reliability of our customers' vehicles. You will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing a variety of automotive issues, performing routine maintenance, and providing exceptional service to our clients. 

Skills & requirements

Responsibilities 

• Major mechanical repairs - steering, suspension, brakes   
• Engine repairs and diagnostics
• Electrical diagnostics and fault finding
• Accessory fitting
• Complete scheduled maintenance activities as requested, including check sheets and reports
• Conduct routine preventive inspections and identify improvements or potential failures
• Maintain a safe and organized work area and good housekeeping
• Collaborate with team members to support each other on site
• Safety certificates

Skills and Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a mechanic
• Cert 3 in Light Vehicle Automotive Technology is required
• Valid driver's licence
• RWC licence is advantageous
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong knowledge of tools and equipment required for repairs
• Mechanical parts knowledge
• Forklift licence is advantageous
