GNM is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Service Manager to join our team.

An exciting opportunity awaits you to manage and coordinate a friendly team in the far Northwest of WA.

You will oversee day-to-day workshop operations, serve as a liaison between the Managing Director and the Admin team for business operations and contracts, strategically lead the company for profitable growth while prioritising customer service, maintaining quality standards and representing business partnerships with key stakeholders, providing customers with organised administrative support and assisting the automotive and admin teams, and delivering excellent service by inspecting, maintaining, and repairing vehicles ranging from cars to vans and small trucks.

Skills & requirements

• Proven experience in a similar role or as an automotive mechanic, with a strong understanding of automotive systems and repairs.
• Proficient in diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical issues in vehicles.
• Solid knowledge of electrical and electronic systems in motor vehicles .
• Ability to use diagnostic equipment and software effectively.
• Experience in tyres, roadworthies, wheel alignments, air conditioning, etc.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Valid driver's licence and a clean driving record.
• Heavy vehicle and forklift licence would be an advantage
